Lily Collins has debuted a bold new look as she embarks on a trip to Korea. The 27-year-old was virtually unrecognisable as she revealed that she has ditched her trademark brunette tresses in favour of an eye-catching red shade with pink undertones.

The Stuck in Love star gave her 3.4 million Instagram followers a glimpse of her edgy new look, with a series of close-up selfies in which she flaunted her new tresses.

The Lancôme brand ambassador later showed off her sense of humour as she posed next to one of her adverts for the brand, in which she was wearing a feathered pink dress, quipping that she had matched her hair to the look.
Lily also had fans giggling in another photo when she struck a pose while carrying a watermelon, quipping: "Slice open this massive Korean watermelon and I bet my hair would fit right in #fruitinspired #itsabnormallyheavy #supermarkettourist..."

Although the actress enjoyed some rare time off to explore her surroundings, her trip to Korea is work-related, as she prepares to film her latest film Okja, in which she stars opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Tilda Swinton.

Last year Lily caused a stir as she arrived for the Oscars afterparty where she debuted a bold new pixie cut, after having rocked a short bob.
